Competition Committee

Committee notes:

• All Division 3 and 4 U12 leagues will operate with the 8v8 format starting this Fall 2008.
• We plan to operate Boys and Girls leagues in Division 3, 4 and 5 as long as we have enough teams in a particular age group.
  • Division 3: Under 13-14 (11v11), Under 12 (8v8), Under 11 (8v8)
  • Division 4: Under 13-14 (11v11), Under 12 (8v8), Under 11 (8v8), Under 10 (7v7), Under 9 ( 7v7)
  • Division 5: Under 14 (6v6), Under 12 (7v7), Under 10 (7v7)
• Competition Committee will be distributing updated rules of competition by June in advance of the fall 2008 season.

Coaching Committee

Coaching Committee is currently working on two related projects:

• Drafting a job description for a district coaching director
• Finding out from the clubs how best to allocate district resources to help the clubs develop soccer and players

Referees' Corner

• Ref assignors are encouraged to coordinate with each other to ensure coverage and fair access to reffing games
